Teething Babies: Symptoms and Tips to Help

Tips for Teething Pain

Signs of teething include:

  • Flushed cheeks
  • Dribbling or drooling
  • Chewing and rubbing gums
  • Disrupted sleep
  • Some children can have a mild temperature when teething (see fever).

To help your teething child feel better:

  • Rubbing your baby’s gums gently with your little finger can help.
  • You can give your baby something to chew on, like a teething ring. Try cooling it in the fridge beforehand (follow the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure it’s suitable to refrigerate).
  • Pamol® may help to relieve pain associated with teething (see our handy Dose Calculator to check the correct dosage). Always read the label and use as directed. Incorrect use can be harmful. If symptoms persist see your healthcare professional.
